In the cities of Niassa the phone-lines work very well and international calls and Internet connection are possible. In rural areas no phone lines exist. Mobile phone reception and national and international reception is good in Lichinga and Cuamba. Mcel has a cell phone shop in Lichinga and planning on setting up another one in Cuamba.
